You guys did a fantastic job on the movie quotes below, but it looks like I get to introduce you to one of my all time favorite movies - SERENITY. "Serenity" is a movie following the short-run tv show "Firefly".

I'm not sure what first attracted to me to this movie...the space aspect...the western aspect...the geek-factor aspect. But I'm sure glad that I saw it. We actually went to the theater to watch this one (and from us - that speaks volumes!) Jeff came home and instantly purchased the series and we've been hooked ever since. It's so fun to have a sci-fi series that doesn't think so much of itself that it can't have fun. You laugh, cry and cheer all throughout the movie. I recommend it if you like sci-fi shows...it's not young kid friendly though.

My younger brother has the DVD set of the series and kept telling me how good it was, to watch it, blah blah blah. When I finally did, I absolutely LOVED it. I think I watched the entire series in a week!
Of course once I made it through the series, I HAD to see the move. I loved it too, although I prefer the series. I'm with you, it's fun Sci-Fi! This may go on my re-view list for Spring or Summer Break now that it's on my mind! :)
Watched Serenity and Firefly recently and just loved them! Why did they get taken off TV I wonder? It was so good. :)

What a fun surprise.
We rented Serenity not long after it came out on DVD. It was only then that I realized it had been a short-lived series. We've seen several of the Firefly episodes, but not all. Campy and fun, we really liked the ones we saw. You know me, I love most "clean" sci-fi!
